With professional experience from renowned record stores like Tower and Warehouse, we have been curating and collecting vinyl albums since the '80s. Our extensive collection is meticulously categorized and organized for easy access. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly and knowledgeable environment, offering recommendations and answering any questions you may have.
Our business owner, a lifelong Stones fan, grew up in southern California, starting his rock n' roll journey with The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" as his first album. As a passionate collector, he has converted classic VW buses to all-electric and embodies the love for music and the joy of sharing it. My wife and I just recently got into vinyl and started checking out local shops. Like others have said, the vibe in these stores aren't very welcoming, so when we met Mike and his adorable pup, it was such a pleasant surprise at how chill, kind, and helpful he was. Niceties aside, he also has a fantastic collection, well organized, and very fair prices (especially compared to other local shops). I also love that part of the money goes to a good cause as they fundraise too. We will definitely be back here to build on our collection.
PS. I was pumped to stumble upon this Bob Dylan album (Vanilla Sky is my favorite movie so finding this here felt serendipitous).
This is my favorite please to go and find old records. I love the laid back vibe. Mike is a great resource and super friendly. It's not pretentious at all like other places. I trust the prices are fair and some great value finds there too. Mostly all used. Most of the records are old rock with some variations sprinkled in. Something for everyone. I've never had any quality issues. It's quickly become one of my favorite weekend activities.
Nice selection of vinyl, especially 60s, 70s & 80s. Comfortable vibe for perusing, shaded & outdoors. Good tunes playing, owner is very friendly and both times I've been there was playing cards with his buddy and just let you do your thing. He knows pretty much all the records he has so if you have a list of vinyl you're chasing, just ask, it'll save some time. I'll be back.
This place is great! My wife and I are just getting into vinyls and Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful when we had questions. The setup was organized and simple which is amazing for us. The selection was great! Mike has a wide variety to browse through. All around a wonderful experience. I highly recommend checking this place out. Give Lou (the guard puppy lol) a pet and enjoy yourselves.
This is my fav record store in all of San Diego county. They have a great selection and the owner makes you feel at-home. They have the sweetest shop dog, they’re located off the rail trail in Carlsbad, just blocks from the village. I absolutely love coming here. If you love vinyl, this is a must-visit!
Awesome place. Found it by accident. Mike is very cool, and knows his music. If you love vinyl, and you're anywhere near Carlsbad, plan to spend some quality time here.
